Even though the temple Idol has a history of over 200 years, There were no great festivals or poojas conducted, Except simple festivals conducted by the devotees of surrounding villages. The temple had no property of its own, no ornaments made of gold and silver.

Since 1984, with the intervention and noble efforts of Sri Sundaresa Swamigal, regular poojas and worships were carried out inside the temple premises, and continue till today. Grand festivals were celebrated each year and special poojas are conducted every month during “Amavasha” (New Moon Day) and “Pournami” (Full Moon Day) in Swamigal’s presence. The devotees gather in large numbers at the temple coming from Tamil Nadu and various states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and other parts of India too.
